Nebulous and strange, this small collection represents the earliest suggestion of my current body of work that I call my “cosmic landscapes”.

Building up layer upon layer, establishing a vocabulary of gestures and developing colour palettes that light me up was the purpose of these works on 12” square wooden boards.

What followed was Cosmic Landscapes, an evolution of the ideas explored on those small wooden boards.
